Ein Tag in Florenz mit der Musik von Sergey Cheremisinov. Es gibt Millionen von Videos über Florenz. Und ich kenne viele wunderbare Filme über diese Stadt gefilmt in 4K und unter Einsatz von Drohnen, Gimbals und all den schönen Sachen, die ich nicht habe. Ich bin mir bewusst, dass ich damit nicht konkurrieren kann. Deshalb machte ich dieses Video in einer ganz anderen Weise.
Die Aufnahmen wurden mit einer Olympus Pen E-PL1 gemacht, nicht mit einer Filmkamera. Indem ich mit verschiedenen Effektmasken das Rohmaterial veränderte, entsteht der Eindruck alter Aufnahmen auf analogem Filmmaterial.

A day in Florence featuring the music of Sergey Cheremisinov. There are millions of videos about Florence. And I know lots of wonderful films about this city captured in 4K, by using drones and gimbals and all the other stuff that I don’t have . I’m well aware that I can’t compete against that. So I made this video from a different approach.
Footage has been shot with Olympus Pen E-PL 1, not with a film camera. I gave the video a vintage look by changing the aspect ratio, grading and some layers which simulate an analogue footage. Anything was edited with Edius 8.
